v1.5.0: Batch Export
PixelForge - Icon Tool » Devlog
New in this update: capture many models at once.
What's new
Batch Export (new toolbar button)
Select a folder of models (or pick them individually), choose a saved preset, and export them all in one go. Save as PNGs, upload to Roblox, or both.
- Every model is captured first, then you get a review grid to uncheck the ones that didn't turn out. Only the keepers get saved or uploaded.
- Your preset's Adjust settings (hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, outline) are applied to every icon automatically.
- Choose how to name each icon: by model name, parent name, or a custom format with placeholders like
{name},{parent},{index},{date}. - Uploaded icons go into a Library folder named after the export.
- The Uploader terminal shows a dedicated progress view with ETA during a batch.
- If some fail, retry just the failures without re-capturing everything.
How to update
Download the new file from this page, drop it in your Studio plugins folder (replacing the old one), and restart Studio. Your presets and library carry over.
Requires the Uploader
Batch Export needs the PixelForge Uploader running (npx pixelforge-uploader). If you haven't set it up yet, the plugin walks you through it.
